When my most recent book, How to Cook a Tapir: A Memoir of Belize came out in paperback, my agent suggested that I start a blog about Belize.  Since my computer and I are not soul mates, I needed to find somebody who knew her way around a computer better than I did.  So I turned to for help.  She has taught computer classes, and the two of us had worked together on the Library Committee—I also knew her from a creative writing class—and I knew her to be imaginative, helpful, that she took suggestions about her own work well, and was very good about working with inexperienced people.  She is also smart and extremely reliable.  I enjoyed learning how to blog under her guidance. 
In fact I liked her work so much that I decided to start a second blog, this one about keeping your horse in your own backyard, since my first two books are about horses.  Throughout, Andrea has been a joy to work with, and I recommend her without reservation.

Dear Andrea,
thank you so much for coming to my rescue with your expertise. I didn’t even know that there was a program that could manage emails. The new email address you had ready for me was a wonderful surprise.
You are so patient and I feel I can call you any time to ask you questions.  It is so hard to find someone trustworthy and professional to feel comfortable enough to come into my home and also feel safe with my personal information. 
Now that you taught me how to do it, my emails don’t overwhelm me like they used to, I don’t dread having to look at my email accounts and they are all in one place, and I don’t have to waste so much time with something as annoying as my emails used to be. Now the email program you installed for me makes my time spent in my office so much more manageable so I have more time to do more important things.  I don’t have to bother with Gmail or Yahoo anymore.  I am happy I can recommend you to my friends when there are so many experts out there who can make the computer situation even more difficult.
